Eugene Composite Merchandise Now Available!
Eugene Composite is committed to getting more kids on bikes by removing financial barriers wherever possible. We recognize that mountain biking can be an expensive sport — from league fees and team dues to jerseys, travel, and equipment — and we never want cost to be the reason a young rider can’t participate.
To stretch our team funding and support as many athletes as possible, we follow a simple, two‑step process: families first apply for the Oregon League’s partial scholarship, and then, if needed, Eugene Composite can provide additional, need‑based support. By offering this layered approach, we’re able to build a more inclusive and diverse team and support more athletes.
The Oregon Interscholastic Cycling Association offers a partial scholarship that covers most of the league fee.
We ask all families seeking assistance to apply for a scholarship first, before registering in Pit Zone. This helps ensure our team funding can support as many riders as possible.
If your family needs further financial assistance beyond the league’s scholarship, Eugene Composite offers additional, need‑based support to help cover expenses such as team dues. Funding is limited and prioritized to ensure we can assist as many athletes as possible. Please complete the Eugene Composite Scholarship form to be considered.
Athletes who need help with a bike or gear, can speak with our Team Director. We maintain a small inventory of loan equipment and will do our best to match riders with what they need to participate safely and confidently.
Eugene Composite is a youth development program rooted in a simple belief: more kids on bikes makes our community stronger. We’re dedicated to creating a mountain biking environment where every young rider feels welcome, supported, and able to thrive.
By reducing financial barriers and opening access to the sport, we’re intentionally supporting a more diverse group of athletes — riders who bring different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to our team. Inclusion isn’t an add‑on for us; it’s part of how we ride, learn, and grow together.
If you’re interested in supporting a rider through scholarship funding, we welcome contributions from both individuals and businesses. Visit our sponsorship page to learn how you can help more kids get on bikes. Contact us at
